OBJECTIVE: You will combine a portrait with other imagery to create an expressive, moving portrait.
STEP 1: Plan! What do you want to happen in your animation? This will be a short animation with about 20 frames total, so keep it simple. Meet with me to discuss your idea.
STEP 2: Choose your imagery. Have someone take a photo of you, or you may photograph someone else. If you are going with the Option B approach (see below), you may use images found online, or your own. *Remember - be thoughtful about your choices. How can use imagery to symbolically and meaningfully represent something about the individual in your portrait?
STEP 3: Set your ideas in motion! Follow the video tutorials below to create an animation from your images.
